Hi! I'm Annie, the photographer behind Clicking to Capture. I first fell in love with photography while helping my mom photograph adoptable dogs from our rescue, using her old Nikon to give each one a chance to shine. That spark turned into a business in 2016, and despite working in a variety of roles after earning my finance degree from the University of Kentucky, I always found my way back to the camera.

 

Today, I run Clicking to Capture full time from Holly Springs, North Carolina, where I’ve lived with my fiancé, Camden, since early 2023. My work spans portraits, families, travel, weddings, and dog sports, but my heart is in photographing dog shows and performance events. As someone who competes with my own dogs, I understand the rhythm of the ring and the moments that matter—whether it’s a fleeting expression or the connection between handler and dog. I bring that insight to every session, helping you preserve the story behind the bond.
